Business Uniforms Chester — Branded Staff Workwear
Put together a practical branded uniform for your Chester business. Chesterworkwear, developed by the Sandycroft team, combines garment choice, company logo personalisation and staff quantities for local businesses and teams across the UK.
Choose your staff uniformPlan the uniform by role
Write down what each team does before selecting the clothing. Retail and office staff may need a consistent polo colour and a recognisable chest logo. Hospitality teams may need clothing that matches their role and wash routine. Trades, maintenance and outdoor teams can need extra layers or specific supplier-certified garments.
Check each product specification against the work and any employer requirements. A logo does not make a garment protective, and a generic category does not prove that every style is suitable. Where performance or specialist laundering matters, discuss that requirement before branding.
Create a staff size and quantity list
List the wearer, style code, fit, colour, size and quantity. Use the actual garment measurements rather than transferring a size from a different brand. Decide how many changes of uniform each wearer needs and which layers are shared across roles.
You can mix sizes and colours of the same style for garment quantity pricing. If fit needs checking, discuss plain garments before committing the full order to personalisation. The 30-day plain-item return policy can help with qualifying unbranded purchases, while your statutory rights remain unaffected.
Choose printing or embroidery
Printing starts with £3.50 ex VAT for a chest application and £6 for a back application, with no print setup charge. It can provide a clear company identity on suitable T-shirts, polos and warmer layers. Embroidery gives a stitched result, with separate estimates for simple text and fuller logos.
Chest embroidery reference estimates up to 90 mm wide are £5 or £7.50 ex VAT per application. Back reference estimates up to 250 mm wide are £8 or £12. New setup is £25 ex VAT per artwork, position and finished size, subject to the agreed waiver only above £395 of eligible clothing and branding after discounts. Final artwork and garment suitability are reviewed.
Keep reorders manageable
Record the approved logo, method, position, finished dimensions and colours with the chosen garment codes. For new starters, a saved draft is a starting specification that can be repriced and checked against current stock. An existing approved embroidery file must be verified by staff before setup is waived.
If departments use different wording or individuals need names, supply a clear wearer list. Confirm which items receive each application and which remain plain. Avoid putting a single general note on an order with several different requirements.
Arrange your Chester business order
Build the order online, save the draft and contact the Sandycroft team with the reference. Include any required date and the delivery address. UK delivery is estimated at £8 ex VAT, or select free collection with location and readiness confirmed before travel.
The garment picture shows approximate placement, not a production proof. Stock, the finished design, colours, position, garment compatibility and any embroidery estimate need confirmation before payment and production. A saved draft does not reserve stock or place a paid order. Allow a working production estimate of five working days after cleared payment and artwork approval, subject to availability and the confirmed specification.
Plain items have a 30-day change-of-mind return policy. Items personalised with your logo, printing or embroidery cannot be returned for a change of mind. Your rights for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods are unaffected.
